Maps the door calculator's hinge type values to the shimshop hardware description (category). When a door config is selected in the hardware calculator, this mapping determines which shimshop items are shown by default in the hinge picker.

Add named variables (dimensions, settings) to hardware items and rules that adjust them when
other items are present in the same opening. Variables appear on the QC checklist output in
the hardware calculator. Formula tokens: {base} = current value of the target variable,
{trigger} = value of the trigger item's chosen variable.
Define manufacturer spacing standards for butt hinges. Assign a standard to a hinge item above. Edge anchors measure to the prep edge; Center anchors measure to the hinge centerline (e.g. Curries: A + (n−1)×B + C = H).
